How do we go about getting home plans?
When building a custom home we feel that all homes should be unique
and designed to meet your needs. We have designers that we work with
you closely and we can schedule appointments for you.
Do you do more than build custom homes?
Yes, we will generally bid out anything including; custom renovations,
garages, finishing basements, kitchen and bathroom remodel work and
some light commercial work.
What do you charge per square foot?
This is an impossible question to answer. There are many factors such
as size and shape that fluctuate the price of a bid. It really comes
down to what the customer wants their home to be. Do you want full
brick or vinyl siding? Do you want $4.00 tile or $20.00 tile, granite
tops or laminate tops, hardwood floors or inexpensive carpet? Many
factors greatly affect the price per square foot, so that is why we
bid each project based on what each customer wants and needs.
How long will it take?
An average house normally takes about 8 months for us to build. Once
again there are many affecting factors like the size of the house,
building location, weather, avaibility of materials, and owners
decision making time.
How do I pay for this project,
do you finance?
No, we do not finance our projects. We recommend that you deal with
Citizens First Savings Bank for any mortgages or pay for the project
from a personal account.
Can I supply my own materials to save some
money?
Typically the answer to this question is no. We use our suppliers
and subcontractors for their quality and there commitment to us. We
stand behind our work 100% because of this. If our customers purchased
their own materials or used their own subcontractors it would be impossible
for us to stand behind them.
We want to build a home but do not have
a lot, can you help us?
Locating land in our area is becoming very difficult. We have relationships
with land brokers in our area who will be able to assist you in locating
the right home site.
